End of Year Report

Before I leave for my family’s annual camping trip over Thanksgiving weekend, I wanted to let you know how deeply I appreciate your support of Florida Conservation Voters.

Your investment in the Conservation Voter Movement in Florida helped FCV grow from a single ballot initiative campaign into a stronger political voice for Florida’s environment. We have more work ahead of us, but I am excited about what we can accomplish in the coming year…together.

I invite you to take a look at our year-end report, which highlights what we’ve achieved in 2017 and provides a brief preview of our plans for 2018.

You have entrusted us to turn your environmental values into our Florida lawmakers’ political priorities, and as we look ahead to the 2018 election cycle, I feel confident that we will elect more conservation leaders to public office, from the governor’s mansion, to the state legislature and at the local level.

Today, and every day I am grateful that professionally I do what I love and love what I do. Thank you for standing with me to protect Florida’s natural legacy for our children and grandchildren, and in all honesty, for ourselves. Over the next few days enjoying one of our many beautiful state parks, I’ll be benefiting from and giving thanks for the hard work of so many conservation leaders who came before me.

All my best,

Aliki Moncrief
Executive Director, Florida Conservation Voters
