STATEMENT FROM ALIKI MONCRIEF, EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR, FLORIDA CONSERVATION VOTERS ON BEN DIAMOND CAMPAIGN VICTORY

Tallahassee, FL (August 30, 2016) – Today Florida Conservation Voters congratulated Ben Diamond on advancing to the general election to represent State House District 68 in the Florida Legislature, where he will face the Republican nominee. House District 68 encompasses part of Pinellas County.

“Ben Diamond played a key role in our campaign to pass the Water and Land Conservation amendment in 2014,” said Aliki Moncrief, Executive Director of Florida Conservation Voters. “We know how deeply committed he is to seeing conservation funding restored. Ben will work tirelessly to clean up the pollution that is choking our waterways, hurting our economy, and endangering the health of Florida families.”
